Kim Yoder

I have a lifelong passion for helping children and empowering communities. With a degree in psychology and a teaching license, I’ve worked as a case manager, elementary educator for 14 years, and now as a Prevent 360 specialist at CAPS. In this role, I combine my love for teaching and advocacy, addressing challenging topics to protect and empower kids and foster a safer community.

Prevent 360° is a child abuse prevention education program that empowers children and adults to recognize, prevent, and respond to abuse. Through age-appropriate lessons and targeted adult training, the program builds a shared understanding of safety. CAPS partners with schools, youth programs, and community organizations to create safer, more supportive environments for all children.
