CAPS CEO Appointed to State Task Force on Child Welfare
Through House Enrolled Act 1273, the state has launched the Child Welfare Task Force, supported by the Commission on Improving the Status of Children.
The Task Force will study child-welfare services in Indiana to see where improvements can be made.
CAPS is proud to share our President and CEO, Rebecca Shetler Fast, has been
appointed to serve on the State Child Welfare Task Force
The task force is chaired by Representative Dale DeVon of the House Committee on Family, Children, and Human Affairs. CAPS is one of only a few nonprofits appointed to serve, providing a frontline perspective on issues affecting children and families across Indiana.
Indiana’s children deserve a system that listens and leads with compassion. CAPS is proud to contribute to that work.
