Together, We’re Building a More Connected Future for Families

CAPS & Maple City is officially operating as one organization, across five sites and a mobile unit, bringing together health care, family support, child abuse prevention education, and child advocacy services.

By joining together, we can make it easier for children and families to access the care and support they need—often without having to navigate multiple organizations or travel across the county.

A family receiving support after a difficult experience can be connected to health care. A patient visiting for a medical appointment may also be introduced to family support or prevention services. Through our mobile clinic, we can bring care closer to where people live, learn, work, and gather.

At the heart of this work is one shared belief: every child and family in our community deserves the opportunity to be healthy, safe, and thriving.

Community Support Made This Possible

We are deeply grateful to the donors, partners, volunteers, board members, staff, and community leaders who have supported this journey.

The Community Foundation of Elkhart County provided a generous $500,000 grant to help offset initial merger-related expenses and support the early work of bringing our organizations together. This investment is helping build the foundation for a stronger and more coordinated system of comprehensive care.
